Hello and Welcome! LOTS of updates!

Hello and Welcome! LOTS of updates!

Hello everyone!

Thank you SO much for how patient you all have been with me in getting this up and running. It was a priority of mine for a while and somehow got lost in the chaos of things to do last year before the holidays.

If this is the first time you're tuning in to hear about what I've been up to, boy do I have news for you. I squared away all the business/financial side of things and Ashtronomical Art is legit! I was in a mentorship with Jenn Barton of Nickel City Wax and Wane / The Charcoal Annex and without her coaching and constant support, I wouldn't be the successful woman I am today! I highly recommend her mentorships to any of my local creatives or small business owners needing a push or just a fresh set of eyes to evaluate things.

I am now a teaching artist too! Very excited to embark on this new journey with you all. I've been wire wrapping for 5 years in august and I thought it was time to share my knowledge I've picked up along the way. I just recently had my first class on Saturday May 20th at Wax and Wane and it was a huge hit! My next class will be on Thursday June 8th from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at Life is Succulent located at 1249 Eggert Rd. in Amherst, NY. At the moment I'm writing this, I haven't booked anymore but am inquiring to different places to plan more in the future so be sure to stay peeled for when those happen!

I am also looking for more locations/venues to teach classes at so if you own a place and would love to host an intro to wire wrapping class, please email me at ashtronomicalart@gmail.com !

I stock not one but TWO new shops! I am happy to announce I joined the Rising Goddess family and the Put A Plant On It family! Wow! That puts me up to FIVE stockists! My next personal goal is to get my art in some shops out in Roc., Canandaigua, and/or Naples.

Rising Goddess stocks an assortment of my wire wrapped pendants, plant stakes! They're located at 225 Highland Pkwy Buffalo, NY which is more considered the Kenmore/Town of Tonawanda area. They are the coolest and one of the most high vibe metaphysical shop I've been to in Western New York. They even have a shop cat familiar named Trixie who will pull tarot card readings for treats. She's a cutie so make sure you stop in to visit her and check out the shop!

Put A Plant On It currently stocks my plant stakes and will soon stock my plant basket pendants! Stay tuned for when the jewelry will hit their shop. They're located at 715 Elmwood Ave Buffalo, NY and conveniently located right next door to my good pals Thin Ice and Lumpy Buttons. PAPOI also has the most loveable shop birds! Chimichuri and Blueberry will greet you and one may even walk right up your arm as you check out. Definitely stop out and see them too!

I'm still waiting to hear back from a few market applications but once I do, I'll give you guys my finalized market schedule! June is all set and ready to go so be sure to join me on Friday June 2nd for Allen First Fridays Pride Edition from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. I'll be debuting my new Pride Collection of sun catchers for the event and a portion of the sales will be donated to a local lbgtqia charity. On Saturday June 3rd, I'll be heading out to Rochester for Flower City Vendor's Hoppy and Handmade event at Fairport Brewing Company University location from 2:00pm to 6:00pm so to all my Rochester and Canandaigua folks, you don't have to wait until Grape Fest to see me! However, if you do miss this event, you will have to wait until Grape Fest but I'll be located in the exact same spot this year so right before or after you grab your slushies, come see me!

Thank you again so much for the continued support. It means the entire world to me that there's so many of you who love my art so much and love coming to my classes!
