About Me

Hey there! My name is Ashley Lamp and I'm a local artisan in Buffalo, New York. Ashtronomical Art is a proud female and latina owned business. 

I received my degree from Buffalo State College. I graduated in 2021 with a major in Art and a minor in Art Therapy. I began wire wrapping as a means to stay creatively active and avoid burnout from constantly doing prompted and graded art in college. Something that was meant to only be a hobby ended up becoming the only thing I do now. 

My disciplines in art are ceramics, drawing, painting, mural arts, printmaking, photography, digital illustration, fiber arts, jewelry arts including wire wrapping, metalsmithing, silversmithing, and lastly short-term installation artwork. These days, I tend to focus on all things jewelry making. 

After working in the field for four years, I've worked on many projects ranging from organizing vendor events, painting murals, teaching classes, curating spaces and many more. If there is anything you need help from a creative with, please don't hesitate to reach out via email at:
